1/2 c milk
1/2 c butter
4tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
bring these ingredients to a boil on medium heat. I suggest melting the butter in the milk, then adding the sugar, then whisking in the cocoa to prevent it from clumping up. Boil for 1.5 minutes (I whisk it while it boils). then remove from heat.
Add 4 c's quick oats (rolled work ok too though) and 1/2 c crunchy peanut butter, stir together, then spoon out onto wax or parchment paper. I put mine in the fridge to cool.
These are my husband's favorite cookies and one of my most frequently requested recipes. I've been told you can substitute almond butter for peanut butter and it's just as good. I also wanted to note that I used almond milk rather than cows milk.
