In like a Lion

First day of March already? Busy with life the last couple of weeks. J gave me an Kindle Touch e-reader for Valentines day and I am in love with it. I've been catching up on a lot of books I've been wanting to read. We've had vehicle trouble and sickness and injuries. I published the first W.A.C.O. newsletter, which came together really well, and has been well received. I also produced some Preferred Patron Cards for the Co-Op. I shipped 10 new hats off too. I've take a bit of a break from knitting the last week or week and a half. I'm sort of half heartedly working on an adult elf hat, because people keep asking for them at the Co-Op. I have the feeling that if I make them, they won't actually sell. But we'll see.

R's been doing well with his school work. I got him a Kumon Tracing work book, and he got through a good portion of it yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by how well he did with it. And he really enjoyed it. I may have to look at more of their materials. B has been taking a few steps every day, but hasn't really struck out walking yet. Watching her, you can tell she wants to though. You can see her thinking really hard about it.

We're hoping to make a trip up to TN to see the fam. week after next, but haven't planned exact dates yet. J won't be coming with us. We've never traveled anywhere together as a family of 4. In all honesty, sometimes it's nice for me to have a short break from him. Helps renew the spark, as it were. I miss his help moving the kids around though. R asks me daily if we are going to see grandma and old man (what he calls my dad). We've had so much trouble with J's truck though, I've been reluctant to take the car on a trip lest his truck have to go back to the shop.

Next week is my birthday :-D
