So I decided this summer I would venture into the world of canning.  My neighbor is letting me pick his huge blueberry bushes, and the best peaches on the planet are grown about 3 miles from my house.  They are incredibly cheap right now.  So I've been making jam and preserves.

cut up, then commence with the mashing

 cook on medium heat and continue to mash

Jars and utensils and pectin

cooked down to a pulpy liquid and boiling

filling the jars and putting the seals on

everyone in the water bath, getting ready to boil
